HyperPodX III: Winning the Innovation Award

In the third SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition, HyperPodX returned to Los Angeles with a completely redesigned pod that introduced an active propulsion system. This new generation expanded on the prior systems integration concept, now integrating electric motor propulsion and enhanced navigation controls. With approximately 70 members, the team optimized navigation and control algorithms, advancing to the top ten finalists among international competitors. The new pod’s modular architecture and electric propulsion approach enabled greater acceleration, reflecting the universities engineering expertise and showcasing its manufacturing capacity as well as industry collaboration.
